Whitecaps Throws were inspired by bits of frothy foam atop the windswept waters of Maine’s Penobscot Bay. Each unique handwoven throw features strands of pure wool roving scattered against a sea of hand-dyed merino wool. The artisan weavers at Swans Island place every “whitecap” in by hand as the weaving progresses on the loom, making each throw slightly different.
